Need Car listings

Hey all I am looking for a listing of every car made since 1980 complete with the years that the car was made.. if anyone has any thoughts on how to get this that would be kick *** ,<p>

trying to compile a list for a mechanic friend of mine, it eventually will be tied into an SQL database and have a front end added to it so he can pull up a list of parts that are available for a specific car based on a selection from the SQL DB.<p>Hope that clarifies
