i was wondering ..my friend has a chevy corsica and the other day while she was driving it i guess she didnt know the gas ran out and it made some noises before the car died and she pulled over and tried to start the car but it didnt work then she flagged down some help and she was able to get some gas but it didnt work? so she figured she needed some more and she put it in but no luck and some said it was the starter? but can someone help and this is a automatic

does it turn over?

There is a pressure release valve on top of the fuel line on the engine turn the key to on and hold it in with some thing (its like a valve stem) and you will here air escape and then some fuel will come out , turn the key and it should fire rite up<BR>

anybody else have any opinions on what can be the problem with this? ive been told it could be the starter, or lack of oil in the car, yep she did empty the tank DRY
