cold idle speed and warming time

Hello. I was taking pics of the gauges I have in my car. 94 RS. When checking out the pics I notice it took 6 minutes for the engine to warm up, with idle starting at 1200, then down to 700. It just seems to warm up faster than I remember. Last winter I did my engine swap to a B6ZE from japan. So now its cooling down and I'm curious about its new behavior. Is this pretty normal? oh yeah, temp is 52 degrees.
