They are talking about probe gt 2.5 K series motor somewhat similar to the K8 in the MX-3 GS

ford used mazda engines in the probe gt. the 2.5l v6 is from the same family as the 1.8l v6 aka mazda k-series motors.

You notice how alot of domestics seem to copy off of imports. Like the talon with the eclipse and stealth with the 3000gt. I mean the talon espically when you can put eclipse parts on the talon.

Thats why they are esentially the same car. The stealth and the 3000GT are again both DSM hence the reason they're the same. The cars are built in the same factory. The mazda navajo, mercury mountaineer, and ford explorer are also the same, manufactured under the ford motor company.<P>I do agree with you in that domestics are following import trends. Look at the dodge neon, pontiac sunbird and chevy cavalier for examples.

Nissan makes Infinitis which is why the Maximas and I30s have interchangeable parts. Its the same way Honda makes Acuras, and Toyota makes Lexus'. And how far away is Babylon from Queens or Roosevelt Field Mall?
