WHAT TRANNY IS GOOD TO USE WITH THE BPT?

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A BPT AND AM WONDERING WHICH TRANNY IS GOOD TO USE. OR DO I JUST NEED TO USE THE 4WD TRANNY THAT I GOT WITH IT. PLEASE SOMEONE LET ME KNOW.

do a search man...
you cant use the 4wd tranny unless ur rich and wanna spend a fortion.
use a 91-94 ford escort gt tranny
or a protege lx tranny...
those are your best bets.

another quick question do u know if either of those bolt up to the bpt motor or do they need to be customized.

They will bolt up to the BPT Motor with no probs.
You will need to get the Axles & the jackshaft for it though.
Also- the tranny mount under the battery tray needs to be a combo of the MX-3 mount and the G-Series tranny mount.
