When i give the car gas it is not responsive and takes about a second to rev also when fully opening the trottle it feels like it hesitates and after about 5 seconds it will run normally does anyone know if it could be the throttle body that is dirty???

Actually it sounds more like fuel starvation or a MAF problem.
I would change out your fuel filter and run a injector cleaner like b-12 Chemtool threw your tank (special note run 93 octane when you do this, cleaner addatives can increase combustion temps some).

Ur problem could be because you have a SOHC 4cycl.
or you could use a new clutch kit.

Is it a 94-95 MX-3? Cuz i have heard that the Response for the pettle is different. Josh was telling me so maybe pm him. If it is a 92-93 i would guess that it is none responsive because your tuning is off and that you are at the Neutral point of your RPM range. Mine is at 2000-2450 usually. Thats how i tuned my car.

I took it to a mechanic and he told me that it could probably just use a tune up and new spark plugs but i put a new fuel filter and ran a bit better thank you for your info
