Does anybody know what the resinator accually does?Someone told me they thought it was to smooth out intake air pulses.I was going to remove the tube to the resonator and point it down into the fenderwell thinking it might suck up some colder air(i know the tube is kinda small, but what the hell).I figured someone has tried this already.Wasn't sure if the resonator accually helped create alittle torque.

i believe the resonator was designed to keep the stock intake quieter
