Hey all,
OK, first off i'm not realling thinking of doing a swap as i don't really care about the power any longer just want the appearence. First off i'm going to be rebuilding my engine adding some new parts to it. WOndering what kind of pistons might be or could be used, or if any of you have modified your fuel rails and or ported your headers and ****..?
any help would be great thanked.
just adding more air, little things to push a few more hp out of the engine then add a turbo to the stock 4cyl. but thanks
later

if you get a engine from a junkyard around here it's gonna have 180km and cost like 1000
(for what i've seen and i searched alot)

dosome checks online.......a j-spec bp is up on ebay currently for 700 i think
or go to your mechanic and ask them to get you a used motor under lets say 40,000 miles...should be able to get you one or just ask him for a price of one and you got a good estimate. oh and the lsd can be obtaind i know from corksport so not much of a bother there. other than that arent the engines realativly similar?
oh and about j-spec being better not always the case!! doesnt japan have a hp limit?

They have a "reportable" hp limit, the Skyline R34 is only suposed to have 290 hp but it is well over 300hp.

i got my engine from here
http://www.japanautoparts.com/
but i really hate them
they wanted my stock engine when it only had 130,000 km on it so they could rebuild it
i told them to fuc off and i was keeping it
