ok,i search for this and most of the people say it's he water pump...
a couple of days ago i was cheking all my fluids in my car and there was no coolant...i was like what?????i just fill it up last week....well i know it's leaking..but the leak is from the coolant container itself..it's from the little hose next to the cap of the coolant container...
so,i don't get how can this be a problem with the water pump....now the car will only leak coolant after long drives...it's like the car is trowing back the coolant from the container...this start happening like 2 weeks ago,and the car is not overheating...but every time i stop the car and get out i can hear the leak...so i took a look and there it was the coolant coming out of that little hose...it's like there is pressure somewhere ??????

please..if somebody know what is it ...help...
thank you

If the engine is pushing large amounts of coolant back into the overflow tank you have one of 2 problems: 1. The radiator cap is shot and isnt holding pressure, get a new one , or 2. The head gasket is blown, allowing combustion pressure in the cylinder to blow past the gasket into the cooling system, which is overpressurizing the system causing the radiator cap to vent pressure (and coolant) to the overflow tank. Also a cracked block or cracked head can do the same thing. Start off by getting a new radiator cap. If that doesnt solve the problem, have a shop run a dye test to check for exhaust gases in the radiator. Local shops around here charge about $75 for that test. If that comes back positive youre probably looking at a head gasket.
