Coolants leaking.

Post by wainaink »

Hey guys i recently installed brand new radiator and hoses but i still seem to be leaking coolant from somewhere close to the AC compressor section. Could it be my water pump or any ideas on where it may be coming from. I've checked all the hoses they are tight and seems to leak more when i park it after driving. Any ideas guys.

Ewige Blumenkraft,
Anyway it probably just drips more after you've been driving it around. As for finding the source: clean your engine first, then run it 'till you can trace the drip to the leak. Make sure your hoses are properly tightened as well.
Good Luck

It's the water pump. I had the same problem with a coolant leak. Check underneath your pulleys to see if there is fresh coolant dripping.
