Need Some Help

Hello everyone, I own a 94 mx3 4 cyl, the base model, I got the car off of a girl I know, and she kinda dogged it a little, but not too bad, I know for a fact, I need to replace the seats, and the carpet, and the headliner. Im sure the transmission needs work, the car drives real rough. Theres a few other little problems, the part that clips my headlight in, broke, so most of the time my headlight falls out.. and I need to get a new catback exhaust. I have had the car for two years now, and I keep telling myself, im not gonna do anything to it, because im gonna sell it, but the more I want to sell it, the more I dont want to get rid of it, im sure a lot of you have felt this way. My thing is this, I want a car that looks nice, and also performs well. and also I want something different, where im from, everyone has hondas, and im getting sick of it. I know you can make it look nice, you can do that to any car, but how fast can you really make a 4cyl mx3? or should I swap the motor? or should I get rid of it and get a mx3 v6? I hope someone can give me some good advice, im really confused

how fast you make it depends on your goals, know-how, and how fat your bank account is. i say keep the 4cyl(would i suggest anything else...no ;)) look into the b6t or bpt swap if you're looking to put another motor in. you can also use the parts off the b6t and put them on the factory b6 that you have now, though some things need to be done. there are write-ups for everything you can do motorswap/turbo wise on this board. good luck.

that's where i got mine from. it depends on what motor you're getting though. you might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere.
