i was wondering on how i would go about on advancing my timing i heard it could give a little accel increase but i searched all over and cant find out how soo im just asking for any help i have a 92 mx-3 rs sohc <P><BR>damn you 88hp

an adjustable cam gear advanced will give more high rpm hp but you will lose considerable power in the low rpm range. ignition timing should not be messed with unless you have serious mods and you engine is very far from being stock .
