You can make it sound better without pissing off your neibhors.
Headers would be a good start. Hurricane makes one for your engine.
There are catbacks from Brullen, and Mazdaspeed. These however may be on the expensive side. I would suggest having a mandrel bent 2" cat back with a straight flowing muffler made for you at a good muffler shop. If you want it louder, take the resonator off.
Corksport has PRM intakes and HKS adapter plates for filters. What you like is up to you.
[ July 22, 2002: Message edited by: jaydog5678 ]

I've got the 2 1/4 pacesetter and I love it, it has a nice deep sound, and it doesn't sound like I wanna race when I reach 3000 rpm!

cut the cat put at least 2 and a half inch piping and buy a good muffer...headers are nice two but a lil pricy...hayame is a real good sounding muffler..sounds loud and deep on my 94 DOHC 4 cyl...also try powetech..they make a good muffler with a 4.5 inch tip for only $125. there are many options!
