Lookin to buy an MX-3

Im lookin to buy an MX-3 I found a 92 model and a 93 model. The 93 has 113K miles on it and is $2995. The 92 is $2395 im not sure on the mileage. But is here anything i should look for when i go to test drive? <BR> Thanks Adam [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Are they both 4cyl. ?

Yeah both are 4 cylinder and 5 speed manual and i just called the guy about the 1992 MX-3 he told me it has around 120,000 miles on it.

Just so you know the 92-93 4 cyl only have 88HP stock

88 hp is easily changed, i have with my 92 4-cyl. <P>anyways, that is too much. i paid 1800 for a 92 1.6L with 101,000. no cosmetics and in good shape overall.

Yeah i figured they werent really hoped up on the horses but the Blue book value on them is around 3000 but im still gonna go test drive them but i did try out a Honda Civic today that was 3900 and its blue book value is 6500 but I just wanna know what i should look vor when i go test drive the <BR>MX-3??

Yes, listen for the CV joints because these cars are around the milage when they need replacing. Ask when last the timing belt was changed - again they are around due for new ones. The 93 would be the better one to get if you are looking for age. as for price, too expensive - 92 you should be able to work down to US$2000 or less and 93 around US$2500 or less. Also depends on the condition of the cars. If they are in really good condition then they may be worth that much.
