You think that's weird?? Mine doesn't do that first off... which is weird. Secondly, if I lock the passenger door(inside or out) while it's open... then close it, it will unlock. No, holding the handle does nothing. I have to shut the passenger door then lock it on the passenger side or the driver side. The mechanism works, it just won't if the door is open.
I've asked everybody on here about it, and nobody can tell me why... I really don't understand it myself. :/

Pull off the panel and see if some of the rods jammed/broke/bent.
Its pretty complicated, but if your other door works, you can figure it out.
