Either way, I do like the few pictures I have seen of his car, even the color. Its zesty and refreshing. I may not pimp it around but if it is as fast as he is saying then I wouldn't care about the color, it would actually add to it.

Truth is it is SO freaking easy to get into the 13's with a MX-3. I ran a 14.1 with my B6DE and about 1200 dollars worth of mods and lost all but 6lbs of boost 1/4 the way down the track due to a hole in my IC. I remember that there were a couple of ZE swapped GS's in the early 00's that were breaking into the high 13's N/A with drag radials. Most tend to run mid 14's to low 15's, I strongly believe that it a direct result to tuning and driver error.

But I would be happy to meet up sometime when I am in OR and see his car. I will probably be headed down later this month. Open invite!

I'm not a drag guy personally, but if I can't break into mid 13s at 250 bhp... then I need a new hobby.

I'll find that out in 2013 if I'm lucky... God this is expensive.

It is, the engine in my RS cost me close to 8K with me assembling i accumulated parts for several years.

It felt great getting her done though, didn't it? Beats buying a fast car to start, and not appreciating what it took to get there.

RESURRECTION ALERT! -- You know, I do that from time to time. I mean, after all, having been away from the board for so long, I missed out on a lot.

Anyway, I'm kind of sad that some of you jumped on 34fast so much. His car is really nice looking in person, and it sounds great. I don't care for the color either, but geez... it would have been nice to have another proud mx-3 owner on this board. Especially one who lives so close to me. I hope he comes back online again, and he is accepted a bit more.

Okay, so let me set the record straight. Neither 34fast nor I claimed that his car could break 10 seconds. I do recall clearly that what I posted previously was correct, but the guy didn't give me actual times. But, you know how it is, a person says something in person, and stretches things a bit. Let me tell you about a fish story... But, then I did what I shouldn't have done, and I relayed what he said onto the board. Perhaps he was pulling my leg, and I didn't get it. Anyway, I feel like I wronged him by posting here what he said in person.

The last time he was on here was one year ago today. If you, 34fast, ever read this, please accept my apology for lacking the integrity to keep a verbal conversation between us, between us. I hope you return to this board, and remain one of the community.
