137km in an 80km zone. It was on a country road in owen sound, coming back from my buddie's cottage. My parents' windstar, packed full of people...cop didn't like it at all. I had to go to court since it was a major speeding ticket (7 km slower and I wouldnt have had to go to court).

6 demerit points, $685 ticket (some stupid owen sound law boosted up my ticket cost) The worst part was that my insurance went from $1500 a year to $4800 a year.

Luckily the other times I've got pulled over (including one time for evading police) I didn't get ticketed.

i'm doing awesome... no SPEEDING tickets in 3 years
because of my record they get me for other things tho... and it always works out that i'm missing my ownership or insurance or something.... bastards.

i wrote off my first precidia when i ran into a tree sideways doing 120 (in a 80 zone...)... in march... yea stupid
lucky that i hit the beam on the passengerside.... the car basically folded in half... but i walked away... yea

and i got into a 7 km chase doing 174 in a 80 (where the gov. was in my sunfire before i removed it)...
also in march... took a spin... ended up taking out a stopsign and sitting on top of a snowbank... thank god... then draged out of the car at gunpoint.

i was able to talk my way down to careless driving... and 117 in a 80....

then a ton of vehicle infraction tickets...

the reason i still have my license... is because back in the day... i had 2 lawyers... lol and they were worth it.

1st...illegal U-turn
2nd...passing on the shoulder..parents' idea to bypass traffic on I-95
3rd...speeding 85 in a 55
4th...failure to dim lights. (I passed the cops and flashed my lights to let the car coming towards me that the cops were hiding.
5th...speeding 90 in a 65, late to work..cop wrote 70 yea!
6th...failure to yield in dc
7th...speeding 35 in 25 dc cop gave me a warning
8th...no ticket, dc cop said I ran stop sign when I didn't. I argued and he told me to watch it next time. (plus my job helped me too)
9th...55 in a 35 License finally got suspended for 6 months (-12points)
10th...( a year later) no ins & disregard for traffic light
11th...55 in a 45, On my way to take a kid that I mentor to college
12th...49 in a 25(no ticket) told the cop I was on my way to work. He asked what did I do. I told him and he let me go.

I think the worst one was my 2nd. I was driving my parents home from the hospital in Dc. They both was irritated with the traffic and told me to drive on the shouder untill we got to our exit. It wasn't too far like 3/4ths of a mile. As soon as I come to the exit, the police are waiting there for me. They had like 2 other cars pulled over already. My dad was like "oopps".

well...my record of no tickets finally ended. August 2nd 06, I got a ticket for 71 in a 35mph zone. It was 9:30pm, dark out, no cars on the road but me. I had just woken up about 30 mins ago, and was driving to work...still kind of sleepy, and didn't even realize I was going that fast. Came around a bend and saw the cop, looked down at the speedo, saw how fast i was going, looked back in the rearview and see the lights. i got busted...first ticket, not sure what will happen points wise etc...

The NO ticket era is over...and this happened in the mx, which I rarely drive, and I decided to take out for the 1st time in like 3 weeks...go figure.

The only speeding tcket I ever got and I wasn't even speeding.

My sister was coming out of the Navy, she was stationed in Hawaii and she had a Mustang which the Navy shipped to LA, CA.

We decided to have big vacation, I went to Hawaii for a week, we hung out, the flew to LA, but the car had not arrived so we went to San Diego for a few days, then back to LA., we grabbed the car, loaded up and started to drive towards Florida.

Car broke down twice, I had to change the radiator and then the water pump, good thing my sister had that mechanic check it out before she shippped it huh? Anyways, we finally get out of Cali drive. It's 5 days with stops and such to Florida, and since we are drving through the desert in Summer we decide to drive at night and sleep during the day (her car has no AC, no heater{had to get that fixed when she got to Chicago, no heater in winter here is brutal}), well on the 3rd or 4th day, cant remember but it was like 10am, I have been driving all night and I am tired, I was trying to get a few more miles under so we could get to Miami early, but I was at my limit and drving in the slow lane doing about 60MPH, I was slowing down to get into a rest area and then I was going to go down a little farther to a hotel. Well as I am slowing down even more to get on the ramp for the rest area I see a cop car come flying out of some brush on the side of the highway, he jump on the highway like he is chasing OJ and hits the lights.

I move over on the side of the ramp for the rest area and he comes up to me...

Do you know how fast you were going?

Fast? I dont know...ummm? 50?

Alot faster than that, get out of the car.

I get out and he asks...

uhm, my sister (she sleeping), we are on the way to Miami, but I am going to find a hotel to sleep for a while, and we are coming from California.

Yes, my sister is in the Navy, she was stationed there, we had the car shipped to Cali, we are driving around on vacation.

I wasn't speeding. In fact when you came out of the bush there, Forest Ranger, I was slowing down, I was going into the rest area. (being a smart @$$ doesn't help, but he was pissing me off)

To seach the car. I don't have anything to hide, I can understand you see a car with Hawaii plates in Lousiana and that catches your attention, but you don't need an excuse. I wasn't speeding, search the car all you want...let me know if you need help. (He proceeds to open everthing in the car while I watch, after 10 minutes when he finds nothing but my bad taste in novelty gifts I plan on giving my friends upon my return to Chicago, he write the ticket and hads it to me)

The funny thing is that I speed all the time, I have a major lead foot and the one time I am not speeding is when I get stopped.

My Mom (also a lead foot) been driving close to 40 years, not even one ticket ever. This from a woman that when I was young she had a souped up Firebird, Mag wheels, side exhaust, chrome engine, the works, we picked up my Aunt from the airport and she was speeding down along the side of the airport (long stretch of road) the cop comes up on her, he is about 1/8 of a mile behind her, my Mom drops her foot, the car jumps forward, my Aunt starts screaming, me and my sister are cheering in the back as we watch the cop get smaller and smaller.

180 in a 110, got lasered. The cop gave me a 10 over. I got off lucky as hell

running thru a subdivision one nite around 10, i roll thru a stop sign and pass a cop coming at me. i start to speed up and i see that he is turning around so i decide to take off. i whiz around 2 corners, pull into someones garage and turn of my lights. the cop passes about 15 seconds later. i start it back up and take off, never got in trouble. the bad thing was i was in a ford tempo. lol

I've had more tickets than I know what to do with... I have a "file" for each year of driving... *sighs*

worst ever was 125mph in a 70mph - fortunately for a glitch in the system I only had to pay $170...

I have had a few and all were deserved, but the one that bothers me the most was back when I was 18, driving a '86 Firebird, bright red in colour and obviously a cop magnet and I should have known better to push my luck with that car, but I was doing about 40km over the limit, took a reduced charge and no points and a fine, but the thing of it was, that everytime I drove that car the cops would follow me wherever I went in that car and it got to be really annoying. I ended up getting rid of it because of that and it ran like crap. It had a weak V6 in it and couldn't handle being in OD at all. I don't miss that POS at all and haven't been ticketed in years...I must be getting old!!

i got a ticket for doing 55 in a 25 (almost impossible in this area... yea almost impossible) he wrote me ticket but i got it dismissed... Story goes i was leaving for school one morning, i was gonna be late if i didnt speed (if i was late i would get detention) i proceeded to do around 40 in a 25 ( road does this about 10 times -:_

yea its like stairs, anyway i was doing around 30 around the corners, shifting out of second maybe once, (longest stretch is almost 800 feet) anyway i came behind a guy doing like 15 so i got angry and passed him and took the next corner doing about 45 and got up to 55 before i nailed the brakes (518ft from the corner to the stop sign) sure enough there was a moto cop that saw me come off the corner and was waiting with radar. Anyway the ticket was for $426 (wreckless endangerment) When i went to court i talked to the judge and prooved it was impossible for a stock Mx-3 to achieve that speed on that road. He found it hard to beleive considering the distance to the stop sign and since i didnt blow the stop sign he beleived it that i didnt make it to 55mph. He let me off (sigh) I was damn lucky and it was damn dumb to.


Anyway thats the only ticket i had but i did pass a cop when i was coming back from seattle, i was doing 145mph at the time and took the next exit...
and decided i needed to get some gas..

Finally got my first speeding ticket about several weeks ago. Was doing about 85 in a 60. The stupid part is that I wasn't even paying attention, didn't notice my speed, didn't even notice the cop, and I know that area and that cops like to sit in the lot there, I worked pretty much across the street of it for 3 years. I had the x-gf with me and had just takem my cell out of my pocket into my holder, but I put in in backwards (light turned green), and she made a huge deal about her flipping it back facing fowards for me (I have a hole cut in the holder to see the top LCD for calls, caller ID and txt message), and i was arguing why she's making a big deal over something so trivial, at that point I saw the cop pull out, looked at my speedo and knew I was screwed. In the end he was nice and ticketed me for 10over, so $40 and no points.

doing 75 in a 50 and having invalid liscence 500 for liscence and 249 for speeding in the states....... so 749 but with bad exchange rate.....

worst would have been 190 in posted 60km with no, insurance,inspection or registration and neither me nor my gf were wearing seatbelts for some reason lol. luckly for some some reason the cop only tells me to "slow it down a bit" and this is after me telling him i have nothing on the car, or even my DL with me.

worst i actually got caught for is, passing an approching school bus, he was stopping and failed to use the flashing stop lights untill he was stopped(there supposed to warn traffic by useing them 500ft before they stop)
$500 cad and 9 point loss. that + 2(driving a nice car speeding tickets)dosent matter how fast you were going the cop saw your rims and heard the exhaust so your guilty haha

Last speeding ticket for me was ........... hmm 1976 ......... wow and it's amazing I haven't been caught yet in the MX ... whew ............

I can't remember how fast I was going ... I was driving my '73 RED Mazda 808!!!
