Yes Ryan, You can use what You want on Your car and we'll all watch as You drive away in a cloud of oxidizing glory.

This should be done as preventative maintenance, BEFORE your car starts rusting apart.

Too later over here, my car is pretty much a rusty pile that I'll keep on patching until I can get my hands on a better shell
I totally and 100% agree with you mitmaks, but I'm just looking at it from the other side...
and maybe its $40 in the US, but its a different story up here.

I go to Krown rust proofing here. The guy really applies a lot and even gives your interior the once over (not with the rust proofing of course lol). He's the only one so far I haven't had to take my car back too because they didn't do proper coverage. 100 bucks once a year isn't really that much to pay. This of course is of little comfort to Lateralus.

Well I might have some semi good news. A friend has a focus she might sell to me for $600 if the other person that's already interested doesn't take it. Meaning, i may be able to keep the mx3 and restore over some time

Okay so that didn't work out. Put the car on craigslist. I will take the gs lip and mud guards off if anyone wants them. And if there's any other little things you guys might want, let me know.

I'm truly sorry to see you sell

Will there be another MX-3 in your future?

Oh yes, I'm in love now. I'll just need to look further south for one next time, or one that's taken care of.

Good to know =) Where are you located? There are some decent cars in my area(within 50 or so miles), and Oregon is pretty good for rust(or lack thereof) on cars.
