plasti dip is awesome, no sandind no preping, can easily be removed!

Very true that there was an issue with the drivers side leaking coolant out and down the engine but that was only on the
non turbo'd boxer. The turbo'd engines have much better head gaskets and have not been an issue.

Got my OEM crossbars/roof rack... i painted it black cause i didn't like the silver alluminium look...

that plasti dip stuff turned out great. where did you buy it from? only place i can find online in canada is home hardware and they charge a butt load compared to the states...

i ordered it from home hardware because they did not have it in stock! 20$ a can :S

Somehow I don't think the price of plasti-dip has anything to do with healthcare
How does that stuff hold? Would you be able to get it off with a regular wand wash type car wash?

no its pressure washer proof lol... you can peel
it off like a vinyl sticker...

I wonder if, in a pinch, this plasti-dip could be used as a form of,,protection. Just kinda dip 'it' in the plastic and your good to go. Hey it may even help prolong the,,,,anyway. Just a thought.

I hope you Krown Rust proofed the hell out of it. Never understood spending all that money on a car just to destroy it with winter driving.
