Ok would the intermediate shaft from the 95 probe fit in the mx-3

honestly i wouldnt be able to tell you.. i used the one i got with my parts car so i didnt have to do any research on those.. i could measure mine when i get out there tonight or tomorrow and let you know how long mine is. if you want? or just go hunting on google if u cant wait.

Ya I can wait I'm still rebuilding the engine lol stupid student budget lol all I need for the rebuild now is the rod bearings and valve seals lol but when I get those I'll put her back together in a weekend then the real fun begins :) bye bye stupid k8 and atx and hello de and mtx :D

i feel like such a ritard, i totally forgot to measure that cv shaft. if i get out there sometime this week ill do it first thing lol. sorry dude!

Aren't those just KLDE pistons?

You really have her apart :D I suggest going to your local thrift shop or whatever and buying a few old white sheets to use as semi-disposable tablecloths to keep your work area clean, and dirt off of your parts. It only takes a little grain of sand or shaving of aluminum to jack your potential of fubar'ing a bearing....

Also, spend the money on the equipment to properly measure the clearances... its cheaper than doing it twice, takes much less time, and in the end, you have two extra super useful tools.

Also, stand your crankshaft up on end, you can bend them laying them down like that. Cams too, lay them in foam or evenly support them on little blocks of wood or foam on the bearing surfaces.
