Glad you like it. It looks even better in real life, I couldn't get the stupid camera settings to capture the light properly.

how did you make yours? i just had a sticker made and put it on painted it black than pulled the sticker off. it looks awesome at night too

Yea there are many ways of doing it, mine is basically just an overlay with the "mazda" cut out so the light shines through. Hey guys, I know there haven't been any updates in over a month. I've been busy looking for winter storage and also my wheel bearing went on me so that had to be addressed. Nothing new has been done, however I DO have some good news! I am happy to say I FOUND winter storage! 
Just in time for the snow. I'm so happy cause this means I don't have to wait till the spring to start some of the things I've got planned. Here are my goals over the winter:
Major:
-KLZE Swap so I can finally give my old, tired, oil-burning K8 a rest
Minor:
-Maintenance stuff: ball joints, tie rods, bearings, brakes
-Minor mods (audio, shifter, engine, etc.)
-Cosmetic stuff
...and whatever else comes up. I will keep everyone updated. For now here's a pretty picture:

meh, badges or no bagdes doing something with the 3rd brake light almost has to be done if you have upgraded the tail lights. otherwise the tail lights look real nice but the 3rd brake looks plain. i think it would be sweet to put 3 l.e.d lights in so it kind of matches the altezza design on the tail lights

so I did it today and am waiting for the paint to dry. Took the mazda badge and scanned it to my PC.. unfortunately I didn't notice until I had it on that it was not perfectly centered.. at least i can't tell as of yet..
