Please more petty bickering, I love these senseless arguements that start some where and end no where. There's Mercedes Benz and Uncle Bens. I think we know where we are, lol.

Thread revival for me? Sure, why not.
I saw this and it didn't really appeal to me, except for one idea. The vertical window would mean no visibility issues in rain! It detracts from the looks too much for my taste, but it's a novel idea if applied properly... there were some clean examples on the first page. Again, not my style, but clean despite that.

So essentially no back glass...it would look something like this...
Massive weight saving though..hatch just flies open when you hit the release

If you must swap the mx3 hatch swap it for the rx7 fd hatch, it looks sexy on the mx3

MX3ers have been ricers since the beginning of time. It'll never change.
When those Del Sol hatches were released I wanted to shoot whoever made it and whoever bought one at the same time. They're still hideous after all these years.

v6 is less rice than four banger....
I'd say we're all rice, but at the top of the pack
Unless you have a tasteless body kit on a 4 cyl auto... then you're typical.

The "del sol" hatch concept always reminded me of a baby ute with a cover for the "bed". I like utes. I'd drive an mx-3 with the normal hatch, with the glass broken out, with no hatch at all, or with the "del sol" one. In the end, its still an mx-3.

The Mr2 hatch, when finished would look pretty clean in my opinion. It's not my taste either way, but it beats the hell out of THIS:

HAHAHAAH that is LEGENDARY!! hahahaha...
and mm92, you're right, though the extreme-ness of it and its exhaust does remind me of a certain Pagani...

THANKYOU Savin for using the correct name for utes!!! We invented them here in Australia and then the US decided to make some as well and call it a 'truck'. A truck is something with a hellava lot of wheels and is frikin massive and tall and long. A ute is a vehicle that has a cabin with an integral cargo bed/tray behind it. Just setting the record straight

Haha yeah, the picture I posted literally scares me. I think if I saw that while driving, I might just crash trying to shake the image from my mind.
