Hey guys, according to my fiance (one of his friends older brothers had a turbo capri...the XR2) the engine that they use in the XR2 is the same 3 cylendar engine that they use in the ford festiva. If this is so, how do the parts from an XR2 fit onto our 4 cylendar engines? Wouldnt it kinda not be possible?
------------------
Megen Murphy
Dont hate me because Im beautiful, hate me because my car looks better than your boyfriends!

Megen, I remember having read that the Capri/Cougar engine was the very same engine found in the MX-3-4cyl.,16valve,DOHC sans the turbo.
[This message has been edited by mendel00985 (edited August 25, 2001).]

Hehe, this is the last time Im gonna take info from my fiancee! He is wrong, I know. The only reason he had me post that was because his friends brother tried to sell him a turbo capri that he had rebuilt and my fiancee swares that when he looked under the hood that there were only 3 cyl.
------------------
Megen Murphy
Dont hate me because Im beautiful, hate me because my car looks better than your boyfriends!
