And thanks, I will put them on and take the whole shebang out for a good wash and wax(maybe).
Also, I've hit a cosmetic dilemma, I have silver/chrome tuner lug nuts right now. They matched the chrome lips on my previous rims but they won't match much with my bronze rims. I think I want lugs that either match my MX3 colour(mira blue) or black ones. Has anyone found rims that match the mira blue? And does anyone know of any nice looking lug nuts you'd recommend?

i think the bronze wheels will look good with the blue car, as for lug nuts i think blue one's would look fine, they'd most likely be brighter than the car's blue but i think it'll look fine

See the thing is, the only blue lugs I've found on ebay(I know, not the best place to look for lugs) are of this tone: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/12X1-5MM-BLUE-LU ... 3218wt_916Evo_Spec wrote:i think the bronze wheels will look good with the blue car, as for lug nuts i think blue one's would look fine, they'd most likely be brighter than the car's blue but i think it'll look fine
I'm looking for something darker currently but not having much luck.
EDIT:
these ones are a bit darker and are the style I'm going for, thoughts?

EDIT2: i might even go big or go home with these GSP ones

but see you gotta realize these lugnuts are being picture with white surroundings and lots of light so they're gonna appear a bit lighter than they are

I'm looking around locally first or i'm gonna hop on these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/16-BLUE-GSP-12x1 ... 721wt_1009
Any body purchased godspeed ones before? These ones don't come with a tool to put them on or remove them so I'm a little iffy on them right now.

they don't have any tools or anything because they're not a lock nut, they're just shiney lug nuts meaning i can come with my regular wrench and steal your rims.RobMinhas wrote:Any body purchased godspeed ones before? if you're looking to get lock nuts you should look into good quality ones as cheap companies have less keys that the company cycles around meaning there's a higher chance of someone owning the same key.
i've heard good things about gorilla automotive, mcgard and other companies i can't recall right now.
I'm sure other members have more insight on this as i've never worried about my OEM 5 spokes that much XD

Ahh I see. I need the thinner ones so that they'll fit in the holes nicely, they aren't necessarily locking lug nuts but they have tools of specific sizes to get them out. I'm not really worried about someone stealing my rims but they do look nice hahahEvo_Spec wrote:they don't have any tools or anything because they're not a lock nut, they're just shiney lug nuts meaning i can come with my regular wrench and steal your rims.RobMinhas wrote:Any body purchased godspeed ones before? Hmmm I think I'd go with black, personally. Because I rate that unless you get a dark blue thats REALLY close colour match to your car, it'll look weird...

I agree it needs to be a close colour. I've painted the extra four I have a darkish blue. Currently drying, I'm hoping they will look decent.ethand wrote:Hmmm I think I'd go with black, personally. My new rims are wrapped in Falken FK452s and so I looked them up online. I found a site where at least half of the reviews were knocking the tire for being awful in the snow and as off road tires. AHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH they're called summer tires for a reason hahahahaha. Some people....

Re: Robs '95 RS Daily driver: No more BPT, more likely BP
So instead of buying new lug nuts I think I'm just going to paint mine blue. I painted my four spares a dark blue, I even went and clear coated them afterwords
I'm gonna put one of my GP rims on this weekend and see how it looks with the blue lugs on the actual car. It's the same colour I used to paint my inside vents and it matches the colour of the car fairly well but a side by side comparison will be the best. If it's too light I might throw on a bit of nite shade and see if that darkens them at all.

Also, local pick n pull has two new MX3s. I'm excited to go check them out, as soon as the weather smartens up that is.

oh yeah, that looks pretty cool... would have to see it on the car to see it proper, though... but I think that'll match nicely. Nightshade will be a great idea if they're not quite dark enough!!
Sweet, good luck in finding some 'goodies' there
