What's your fuel economy like though? MPG wise you should get good mileage. I can drive with my BP swap about 230 or so miles before my light comes on from a full tank.

I'm going about 250 miles to a tank now that it's mostly low-speed driving. When I first got the car, I managed to get it as far as 315 (I think) to a tank once. it was definitely over 300, but I crunched the numbers and got 36 mpg that time. that's been about a year and a half, though. these days I'm in the mid to high 20's.

its not coolant i had the same problem on my b6d before the swap my simptoms where the following it would burnt tons of while smoke for about 4 min and then it would clear completely i never found out whats wrong with it but i do know its not the head gasket i replaced mine 2 times since i thought it could be it i replaced it then didnt cure it there for i suspected i got a damaged one or wrong one order a second one from a different mazda dealer accross town, still didnt fix it my car worked perfect except for the smoke i later developed a oil leak and blew the engine but thats a different story

good to know I'm not alone, but for now it's stopped doing it, so whatever.
