Possible GB: Seat Re-uphostery kits
If there are more than five people that would commit to 94+ seat kits than, yes we would do it. For us to do it menas that we have to go to the junkyard and get a spare set of seats, take them apart, make patterns and asee how they fit, then make more adjustments to make sure they fit perfect. So, if there are 5 for sure, we could do it, but not after this 92/93 GB is done.
Okay, i read it all through again, and you just answered my question if there would be pockets behind both front seats..
Thats going to be nice
You said that you were going to ask perry if he would throw in an extra lumbar foamy in the deal too, so did he??
When can we see the pictures of the leather/vinyl-seats that perry was going to make for everyone to see the finnish?
And you were going to post some links to various fabrics, so it was possible to see the diffrent options and maybe colours?
Also what will theese kits weigh at the most? "for shippingquote"
Hmm the rearseat "bluefabric-part on the picture" would it be possible to stitch a pattern or something into it to get it to look less plain?

Sure, as long as it is not crazy elaborate that will take him a day to complete. I am sure if you had something in mind he will do it.DJsMX-3 wrote:Okay, i read it all through again, and you just answered my question if there would be pockets behind both front seats..

Yes he will. Our seats need it.DJsMX-3 wrote:You said that you were going to ask perry if he would throw in an extra lumbar foamy in the deal too, so did he??
He's working on them right now, not sure when he will be done.DJsMX-3 wrote:When can we see the pictures of the leather/vinyl-seats that perry was going to make for everyone to see the finnish?
Leather, Vinyl, Suede and Tweed are most porbable choices. I talked to him about the regular clotha dn he said that good stuff costs a lot, almost like leather and bad stuff will look like sheiat. Why would you want your seats look like Honda Civic anyway? I have some picture right now but would like them updated with the new stuff he has. I have not been there for a few weeks. Gotta go take pictures. Any specific colours and materials you want?DJsMX-3 wrote:And you were going to post some links to various fabrics, so it was possible to see the diffrent options and maybe colours?
Dunno. Once he has a set made, I'll tell you. May be 10lbs?DJsMX-3 wrote:Also what will theese kits weigh at the most? "for shippingquote"

Talked to Perry today, will be there on Saturday taking pictures of new colours and materials that he's got. Also Mx-3 seats that he had in the shop got snapped up by some hot-rodders, so a pair will end up in a '33 Ford Roadster and another I can't remember what car, some other Ford Coupe of 30's vintage. One set he's completed and I'll have pics soon and another in a '33 Roadster will be done sometime soon, so I'll have pics as well.

if you read the earlier posts, you'll get all the details, but to sum it up it's $1050 CDN for vinyl and it's completely up to you what color you want and what material to a certain degree (cost may be affected). you get seat covers for front and back and material for door panels and rear trim panels.Legato626 wrote:DUDE if i can get that in yellow i would jump on that but i need to know a price?

Don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in this project, but I can't justify a 1000$ expense with the economy I'm currently having. If this project keeps on going, then I will scrape together enough money to be in it. But it will not happen this year, that's for sure...ovendenk wrote:

Guys, sorry I had some personal issues that I've been dealing with in the past month or so. It has not been easy. Perry got a lot of new materials in the shop, but a lot of them are specialty stuff. As far as leather is concerned, I know you want picture. Buy in reality, leather is leather. You seen pictures of the boots from the previous GB, when Perry says it's quality material, then it's what it is. Sometimes I do have to ask, what particualr leather pictures do you want to see. Vinyl, he has looks exactly like leather.
