I know this isn't very interesting as far as worklogs go (woo new brakes wow how amazing), but this is the work I have to do and I feel like it really doesn't require much technical discussion and doesn't really require comments from other members. Maybe someday I'll have something more interesting, once I get it up to par.

Good idea on rust proofing the shifter linkage, I think this is the first Ive read of someone doing that
