The ones that CS sold were fiberglass, you have one right? If you can you can post pics of it and I'll tell you if its fiberglass or not.

The CorkSport ones were, I can confirm that I thought you guys meant the "true" MazdaSpeed ones were fiberglass, I always believed otherwise

I have wondered this myself. About a year ago I saw a "mazdaspeed" one for sale on ebay being shipped from Korea. I about clicked the "buy-it-now" when I noticed that it was made out of fiberglass. It did have MS stamping on the inside of the bumper.

Guy's our cars are old. There is not enough interest for them to make these out of any other material. To do so it requires a different type of mold than they currently use. If you want them for the price that they were selling then fiberglass is the only way to go. To make a urethane or something different the price would probably double.

FYI the OE MazdaSpeed front bumper was fiberglass, same with the side-skirts and rear spoiler. It was thicker than the CS MS replica, as CS blows the fiberglass into their molds, vs the laid and vacuum molded method used in the OE MS parts.

i dont car what its made of u can make a mold and make it out of something else later the important thing is to get it be for you cant get it any more... EVER you feel me so pls ppl dont be on one lets get it and if you want to change it you can do so later

When I talked with them a month or so ago, it was mentioned that it could be done for around the same price as their last listed price with 10 people in on the GB. But nothing was set in stone.

Well as far as i know, there last set price was a sale price? and what driftfan said is a really good point. im in. idc if its fiberglass. probably never find another one.

The $150 was a sale price. Shipping would have made it a PITA, but I snagged mine in person. I'll use it, eventually...

yaaaaah. im thinking if theres someone closer to corksport then i am but is in a driving distance that is in on this. get them to have it shipped there and then ill just road trip it to wherever n pick it up. rather spend my money on gas and a fellow mx3er then shipping.

I can relate, I'm lucky to be only 2 hours away from CorkSport... Others are even closer!

now i want u all to know im not trying to step on anyones toes i just want the part tru story i got a stock 1988 323 gt-x what i want cork sport had a intercooler some strut bars and gt-r body and power parts i miss out on all that id pay anything to get it know and i dont want to be saying this about anything on my mx-3 or miata u know so um sorry if i had a little bass in my um text hahahah

What? lol. i made out that u wanted parts but missed out n now they dont sell them? this is a Mazdaspeed front bumper group buy.. not some random parts for a 323. sorry but dont go post robbing. search, cant find what u need. make a new post.
