If you can do it and keep it clean looking... by all means do it, I just hate seeing cars that have two mods, lowering springs(with stock struts-.-) and a CF hood. So many people choose those 2 items alone, and even well built cars that look like that will be treated the same. Granted, it's your decision as the owner of the car; I'm just telling you how I perceive cars that look like that.

Remember too that my Mx-3 was technically two-tone as well. I think she looked mean!

Visually there's only so much you can actually see unless you overdo it. What more is there than paint/CF/bodykit, rims and being lowered? More is really only getting tacky, IMO. I look forward to my car getting to that point, but performance > style, that's the priority. Hopefully it'll go coilover suspension -> supercharger -> rims & wider tires -> CF

Well, yes and no. Lighening a car has many more benefits, but if you're really concerned about balance, stuff like even an exhaust and a system would skew that too. The supercharger will add weight to the front end, so technically that would help offset it.

I liked your Mx-3, but I honestly greatly prefer a single matching color for the body. Granted, that's MY opinion, and I respect that you're standing by yours, especially as it is your car! That's one line I'll try not to cross. :)

I actually didn't mean "more" as in more aesthetic changes... I meant the Honduhs that have lowering springs and a CF hood, then they sticker it up and call it a racecar. The majority of them will never even consider performance mods, because they cost money... and take time/effort to come to fruition. Waaaay easier for them to slap on a body kit with sheetrock screws like one of the MX-3s in my local JY

I'm also of the same opinion that performance should always come first... Not just go-fast parts either, as so many are misled into believing... Safety, economy, longevity are important too.

As for lightening, balance should be among the first considerations... I think I misinterpreted what you wrote, but balance is probably the MOST important thing when cutting weight. Besides the obvious of not cutting out structural supports like frame rails or strut towers  Balance is a key part of my current build, and it's been one of my larger problems tbh.
