I decided to spend the $300 for an Iphone on car parts instead, so I got a free replacement phone from Rogers which actually isn't too bad! I like it better than my old one, I can actually customize all the menus and buttons! AND it has an accessible t9 dictionary! My old phone would store the most recent word I taught it as the 1st choice - so if I accidentally spelt something (or my pocket spelt a series of numbers) that was the default t9 option. Drove me up the wall.

if it wasn't for me working for a cell phone provider there would be no way I would ever use a contracted service. It's such a rip.

The most ideal wireless service is prepaid. get your phone, get it unlocked and chose from your favorite prepaid providers. No taxes, no regulatory fees, and much cheaper monthly target. No sales person trying to sell you bogus crap and screwing up your service. what's that? late fees? doesn't exist. I would NEVER go contracted under any service. it's a rip.

They gauge us for Pay-As-You-Go in Canada, not worth it here. I wish we had the contracted plans you guys have in the US

pay as you go can be a rip. I'm thinking more of the monthly prepaid carriers. US has MVNO's who rent wireless space from our big four. I think Canada has something similar but I don't think it works the same up there. Down here you can score a unlimited talk and text with some web access for 50 bucks

Yep prepaid sucks unless you NEVER use your minutes...Cricket seems like a good deal if you already have a phone, as they make you pay for the phone of coarse with no contract. But I've heard their service can be spotty.

I've never had dell or HP ever offer me a contract with a free laptop, desktop, or with any other electronics manufacturer. I think that contracted cell phones are ridiculous. people calling in for free phones, wireless companies who raises their monthly rates to compensate for the hit on subsidized devices. I am a firm believer, you buy your device, and pay a cheaper monthly price. Tmobile tried to do that, they offered a no-contract plan which was on average 20/line less than their contract plans and yo udon't have to worry about damned manufacturers telling you wat phones they demand web on and what phones they don't. the wireless industry as a whole is one big evil piece of grumpy gill garbage and needs to sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Dude if you like windows seven style phone, Launcher 7 will show that awesome picture behind it and transparent the tiles so it looks awesome, if not you should try Go launcher EX best one i've seen, That looks like touchwiz, so Im assuming its a Samsung. not a Galaxy S Original cuz messaging is on the dock.

Nice catch on the messaging, I knew it was a Sammy, but didn't notice that. However, if rooted, he could move the quick launch icons around, right?

Anyway, I'm using a rooted, rom'd, under-volted, overclocked and themed GalaxyS Fascinate (de-binged verizon), and absolutely love it! I have pieced together my own boot animation, and tweaked the TW clock graphics to my liking, but wish I had the free time to do a full theme of my own.
