I don't see the need for replaceable bearings.


I'll try to dream up a rust-less, ribbed-less camshaft dream soon. Maybe i can get the camshafts right in my head :P

Thought I'd close up this thread with a followup... them camshafts were tough. I used the green scratchy pad from my kitchen sponge (I know, everyone told me not to)
And I used some Comet and it came to a shine. No scratches, no rust. I wiped it all down with a clean rag, with it dry and shiny, I put clean oil on the camshafts, cling-wrapped it, then taped it shut.

They should be going in tomorrow.

maybe have them "hot tanked" at engine rebuilders shop.
