Not to much to report. Got parts on the way.

Just trying to the small things while the parts and my cheque are a week away. Replaced the thermostat, plugs,pulleys and I have all the belts but my timing beltlooks fine but i might aswell replace it.

Slowly working on dismantling the k8 in the Mazda but its hard doing it alone. Anyway a pictureof the MD and one of me back at work. Hopefully the picture doesnt get me in trouble

Yay for an intact front lip, you bumper needs a screw, whats hanging out of the bumper, and what is that red wire?

Haha I HAD an intact from lip and the bumper DIDN'T need screw, of course until I had it towed and apparently he wasnt to bright. If you look close I wrapped my dogs leash around it so it wouldn't drag as I'm moving it lol

And the red wire ....I have no idea. One end was taped other end wass just there...

No more room in the garage so the bumper and black eyes sleep with me lol also behind the bumper is a bunch of new parts that I got in the mail.

Haha yea man. I'm not leaving them outside, that's cruel. Last year I worked in my buddies Kakawaski ZX6-R or w.e. its called in my living room. That reminds me I need to scold Luke for the 11,000 rpm wake up call .

Anyway I've noticed, as many of you have, that nobody new likes to use the search link. While I'm at it I'm wondering if I shoud make a detailed, photographic walk through of the over asked questions . Feedback?

If you want to make a write-up, go for it. There have been plenty over the years, just not many people take the time to dig that deep into the archives of vast info.

I only think few have really mention swaps in '94+ cars (Solo_ryder for 94 and Daninski for 96 come to mind). It seems most have '92-93 V6's that do the swap.

Just do it, it won't hurt, haha.

Last week something in the trucks hydraulic clutch system took a piss so at the moment I'm waiting for parts before continuing with the build. Since I need my truck to make money so I can poor into the MX. Haha

I've also decided to take it around the corner to my dads thrown it up on the hoist and drop the whole subframe. Also I have been reading the topic about the Ecu and vaf combos, so I've ordered a KL02 VAF and ill try that with the stock K8 ECU and see how that goes. Maybe even a dynorun to get solid numbers. If its a half decent combo Ill keep it cause megasquirt is coming way later.

Still indecision about headers. I kinda wanna go with pacesetters, but add a vacuum using a part that name escapes me. Much to come!

Well after much deliberation I've decided to sell my MX and all parts related to it. Everything is pretty much in the worklog I've been working on. I don't want to do it but I'm not in a position to work on the car properly enough for it to be would it could actually become. I'm not wishing to part it out, local pick up only. You can even have the brand new motor stand 1500lbs. The K8 is still in the MX, the bumper and headlights are out, everything from the start has been bagged and labled. Transmission was in great shape. Im asking $3,000. I don't think its to much to ask maybe I'm wrong, and I know this isn't the for sale thread but I can't create a thread yet for some reason. I've pm'd Barry though. Let me know what you guys think.

I think thats too bad. Too many projects on the go, got overwhelming?

I don't think you'll get 3k for a disassembled car, maybe 1k for the car alone ... maybe 2k w/ the ZE....

If you don't need the cash right away I suggest just letting it sit in the garage for a few months. The bug will itch you again, I promise.

The ONLY reason I'm getting rid of it is because I have no access to a shop to work on it or a place to even store the car and parts. Being that this is the first chance I've had to post a reply should say alot about what little time I have lately.

Its sucks, I hate it. I love that car. I can pay to have the engine swapped but then whats the point!? I wanted to do all this by myself for years, I'm not about to pay someone to do it. I rather it go to someone on here. Ya know? Anyway, I think I'll evaluate everything and price it up. Its got a full gasket set thermostat all belts and some other stuff all in their package waiting to be installed on the ZE.
