@Typhoonk: He is not doing 90-94 BP swap on a SOHC - he is doing a 95-98 BP swap on a DOHC - or atleast thats what i think he is doing......

omfg!!! ok today i had everything in perfect running order. i had to replace the gasket on the thermostat and broke off the bolt on the engine stud. wasnt a big deal so i swapped the plug with the one from my other engine. takin the stud outa my bp ended up breakin the f*ckin corner off the cylender head housing for the thermostat. so now i gotta rip everything apart again and get the head machined:( jus not goin to well..

i say convent from a 1.6 dohc OBD II wiring setup to a 1.6 sohc OBD I wiring setup..

examine the setup on a 92-93 1.6 sohc mx-3 could help out if u have both to compare in a junk yard...

today i started rippin the engine apart to get the cylinder head off. i ran into a few issues with tools needed and timing belt etc so im fed up, been workin on this for bout 3 weeks and havnt had a car to drive for bout 2 months. im at my breaking point:( gettin too frustrated and runnin outa money and i want my car now damnit lol so ya im takin it to a garage to finish whats left. hopefully wont cost to much and get it done faster bein the amateur i am not knowin beans all bout engine enternals besides whats the parts are called. so thanks u guys for all the help, ill be lookin into that bp ecu eventually and hopefully will have alot more good years with the mx-3. Zoom Zoom mx-3 lovers:P
