I took the rim to a wheel shop - it was going to cost $250 and up to get it fixed! So I am trying to source a single rim and keep the damaged rim/tire for a full size spare! I've got a couple of leads and I am getting excited about getting these rims on the road again! I'm keeping them ghost chrome too so they will match the headlights and aluminum accents on the interior of the slow car.

You can't powder coat non-metalic objects. They run a charge through the object to get the powder to stick then bake so and non-metalic part won't have been charged and wont have powder on it.

yeah I also recently took this to a shop to see if they could fix it - they were skeptical because of the depth of the cuts into the rim. soooooooo I am looking to buy one rim. I have found a few on ebay.uk but they are all the wrong lug pattern... I guess I should post a WTB! :?

I just ordered new tires for these rims as I want to use them and if I can find a 5th rim I'll keep the damaged one for a spare...

I really love these rims 8)

OH sorry to hijack your thread, mooneggs, but how bout me?

Fix my rim? I think it needs fixing, but then again, i could be wrong.

You think it's worth having them shave my rim down and re-coating it? Or should I just get a new one?

it's got long scratches in the rim.

Oh, maybe a picture will help you guys determine whether it's a good idea to fix my rim.

Right, here's the picture...

Oh come on, it's a little bit bent, warped, and the lip has a looong and pretty wide crack and when you roll the rim on the parking lot, it'll start going straight, then wobble, wobble wobble, and topple over.

I was thinking just a few rattlecans will fix it!

I think just one can will do the trick, but yeah that rim is definitely still usable. maybe it'll make a good highway wheel, lol

Here's a set of 4. its on the UK Ebay so i dunno how much it would cost to buy but it shouldn't be too much different. i think the rims are only for sale in the UK though....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-TSW-RAZOR-ALLO ... RCH:GB:101" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's another thing for a single rim $143 for it. as for it being an old listing...i couldn't tell ya.
http://www.1stoprimshop.com/rim1.php?na ... ndsearch=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This next one just scroll down, they have the Razor listed for $135 each.

http://www.tires-n-parts.com/wheels/tsw.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That should at least start you on your search again.

Thanks for all the links! a few of these I had not seen in my google searches lol

I've been checking UK ebay every day since I guess these rims were more popular over there BUT the problem is that most are all the wrong lug pattern and they are 4 x 110 or 4 x 113.4 instead of 4 x100!!

I want to buy this rim but they quoted me 500£ (around $1000) for shipping one rim... stupid
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-TSW-RAZOR-ALLO ... dZViewItem" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I called those places too you listed and nobody has them :x
