Concede defeat? I must be missing something.. I dont race.. I wouldnt mind a few laps around a real race track for fun.. and I dare say I would like to find out what my reaction time is for giggles.. but thats about as close to racing as I do.. As long as I can keep the minivans from zooking me at stop lights.. I am all good with it ;) I like the MX-3 as a decent handling commuter car with low cost repairs and upgrades.. it would take a well built MX-3 (with a LOT of money into it) to take on a mini.. let alone THIS mini. Cool little cars though.. :)

Argh, what happened. I was hoping you would get it and report back on it. I am still looking at getting one, but the BMW dealers are getting a ton of action on them here in the ATL. I might have to look out-of-state to find one now. If the damn MS3 would hurry up and get to a dealer. I think they are "here", but none that sit at the dealer long enough for me to go and test drive. It is definately between the GP and the MS3, but I cannot buy a car without driving it first. I know the GP will blow the doors of a MS3, but the price difference and number of doors/seats is something I must think about. Plus the GP had a rear seat delete from John Cooper and thus it is not only a 2 door, but only 2 seats at that. (a good part of how they got the weight down) The GP uses CF in places to lower weight and looks freeek'n sick for a Mini. Having seen stock and S type Coopers walk ALL OVER tracks and auto-xs I'm allready throughly impressed. The GP should be even a step above that.
With that all said. The new Minis will be turbo charged not SCed and that is a big plus when it comes to adding more power so I'm even more confused as to what to get. I have promised my fiance that I won't mess with the new car, but I must admit that it is a bold face lie and I know it. It will be modified at some time, not matter what kind of car it is.
Well, I hope that you et one before I buy a car and can tell us exactly what you think.

The mx in stock form really doesnt compare to the MINI. Take one out for a spin and experience it yourself. It is truly a mans go-cart.
