Headers on a V6 1.8L Stock MX3

I believe I've heard a few times that the Hot Shots sounded best. I think they make good power too, especially on a ZE.

i know this thread is like a month old but, i just bought headers for my k8.... and i was wondering how hard hte install was... as in do i have to pull the engine to install or how do i go about doing it?

I put mine in with the engine out. I am not sure how long it would take if it wasnt pulled out!! took just a hour to isntall everything but the EGR pipe does not line up. You need to get it bent to fit.

s--- i think my alt went, i might aswell pull the whole engine now

pffft no need to pull engine..simply take our your intake manifold and stick em in there.. its easy..outside of the engine it took me..eh 15 minutes? LOL when engine was in it took me around 1 hour and a half and alot of scratches later. I was using a man hole. its MUCH easier if the engine is out. Bolt on minus the egr.

well i looked and there is no belt on my alt haha, WTF., im going to bring it to my friends house next weekend and use my friends garage with a cherry picker and a full lift, im sure we can figure something out

how much does the EGR pipe need to be bent>? lol, and i could just remove the EGR and weld the spot on the headers shut and the same on the intake mani?
