Wouldnt most thieves just smash your window if they couldnt get the door open? Not to rain on anybodys parade... But if you dont have a car alarm thats going to make thme take off running. Shaving your door handles is could cost you just as much money in damges to your car if they cant get the door open. Smashed Window + Stolen Goods is going to be more than Broken Lock + Stolen Goods ?

I guess what im trying to say is dont shave your door handles because you think its an anti-theft device...
