Get your facts straight. Not all FMU's are RRFPR. FMU does not always equal RRFPR. Like I said "they are different."

This is on topic. No it is not the exact same thing and no fmu is not just a different term to say RRFPR. If you tell someone that FMU is the exact same thing as a RRFPR and they go out and buy a FMU, they might not have bought a RRFPR FMU. A RRFPR is a FMU true, but not all FMU's are rising rate fuel pressure regulators. Same as then term “computer” and “laptop” are not exactly the same. Just because you go out and buy a computer does not mean that you have a bought a laptop. I am sure that you understood this difference but when giving someone advice you should be specific so they don't buy the wrong thing. That is why I posted that link and that is why I am trying to explain the difference in these two terms.

No they are not contradictory statements. As I stated before, the terms rrfpr and fmu are different in the same way that the terms laptop and computer are different. To say "rrfpr = fmu" is misleading. It implies that these terms are "exactly the same." I am trying to point out that they are in fact different, so that he does not buy the wrong thing.

then explain to me why cartech is mixing these 2 terms all the time like if they meant the same, they know what they are talking about, they've been in the game longer than we've been born

and 99.9% of the time, when people talk about a fmu they refer to a rrpfr.
Go to a speed shop, ask for a fmu, they'll give you a rrfpr

Ok so what do I get a RRFPR or a FMU?? HAHAHA just kinding guys!!! DIdnt mean to cause so much arguing!!! But thanks to everyone for there imput!!

i drilled out my stock FPR so it flows straight threw. and then im running a MSD adjustable boost sensitave FPR it works great for low boost applications but once i get up to or past 15psi it doesent work so great. so this meand i need to throw on my Comptec FMU, is to pretty.
