My brakes failed on me today (Why?)

You guys have any tips/tricks on how to loosen what seems to be a rusted shut bleeder screw without snapping it?

Have you tried PB Blaster, great stuff and available at most autoparts stores.

Is "rust-eater" the actual name of the product? Is it that Starbrite stuff, RX-5 or Novirox? Gotta link? I got mixed results w/a Web search. Thx.

I use marvel mystery penetrating oil from pep boys. It works like a champ, on everything ive needed it too

Heating area with propane torch beside bleed screw while keeping bleed screw cooler may work too. Just a guess though.

make sure all the lug nuts are tighted...

I had the same problem as you described, checked the wheels and found two lug nuts missing off the front passenger wheel.
