A 300zx isn't THAT heavy, just over 3,000 lbs, unless its 2+2. A 300zx would stomp a ZE, unless it were modded to hell and the zx was stock, but it all depends on the driver.

ive beaten a 300zxtt, it all depends on the quality of the car/driver...

Hey I thought this was for the fastest mx-3, i do recall a show car on here a while ago that had a bored out 2.8 ze super or turbo charged, cant remember which, not sure what other performance mods it had or idf there was a dyno and track times.

my buddy tim and i have some of the fastest v6 mx3s. he runs 12.7 and i run 13.30... although that was on a weak motor.. my new forged beast is being put together run now... and we will be going low 12s eventually .. BWAAAAHAHAHHAHHAHA......

My bro has a '90 300zx TT 5-speed, its got an intake n exhuast, i'd say about 320-330hp. It's fast. I take it out from time to time but I've never driven, or rode in a 2.5L mx3, but i'd take the Z any day. one more thing too, cuz of the way they're designed they have craploads of wheel hop instead of just squatting and going, which means slow et's but high traps. Regardless, its a fast and nice car.

300zx's aren't slow, I used to be really into the Z car scene and have owned a 240z with a chevy 350 in it, I've been around Z cars a long time, the 300zx with 230hp (n/a) weighs 2900 lbs. I just found out from a friend that works at Nissan (2 seater) and they are very fast, I have seen many of them do runs, seen a stock n/a beat a turbo awd wrx, they are kinda slow off the line but come back towards the end, kinda like what ray ray was explaining. My father had 2 300zx Turbo's....both got smashed up...first he got hit from the back and that was it...second one he slid of a cliff and it rolled 5 times before stopping...Father is alright and all but no 300zx anymore ....anyways when he did have them they where fast cars..never went to the track but i'm sure it would take out most cars there.

Oh, and by the way, just cause a certain car doens't go to the track doesn't mean they are slow, and how can you possibly compare a dodge stealth to a Z car? groooooss. I've seen dodge stealth's run too, they aren't too bad, but I'm not a big fan of them. N/A 300zx's run 15's stock, twin turbo will make 400hp with intake, exhaust, and a tuned ecu.
