Toe is what screws you over when you lower your car. You MUST have proper toe or your tires will wear apart in 2000 miles. I learned this the hard way.

Get a friggin alignment when you lower your car!!
thats great advice. I wonder where Ive heard that befor?  , but Im sure that some one will post tomorrow, that there tires are wearing out and they think its there camber :werd: , o yah, do I need to do an alignment if I lower my car?

Yup. An alignment will check for and/or adjust toe, camber & caster and the following link privides a good illustrated tutorial on what these adjustments mean. Hope that helps...

That's the most expensive alignment I ever heard of, unless you were including the price of two new tires as well.

Yeah, I was wondering about the same thing re tires. I usually pay around $100 for a 4 wheel alignment.

sorry..i didnt make myself clear...i paid $75 for front alignment, $45 for rear alignment, like $20 for 2 tires mounted and balanced, about $45 to free up frozen parts...and i guess the rest is for labor and tax...i knew he was expensive but everyone told me hes the best around here and he does it the right way...he also modded it for better turning and cornering...so im happy now...at least im no longer driving with 2 17" rims, a 15" stock rim and a donut like i have been for a couple months...lmao

You got so freakin' ripped off it isn't even funny. I took my car to get a 4-wheel alignment last year and it cost me $79.99cdn + tax lol. This place specializes in modified cars too!!
