I occasionally have a very slight clunking when driving on uneven roads or when the front wheel in on of the sides "drop" into a pothole....

I dont think its my springs bacause if i drive fast while going over hills and such where they really get compressed theres no sound at all

Could this be the endlinks clunking??? :confused2:

Babyblue:So i just guesstimate that theyre the ones doing the clunking and replace them?? Or can i actually see pfysically on them that theyre broke? :confused2:

I have been under the car before while having this problem, but the little rod between the two nuts werent broke/rusted over...

Babyblue: Okay so if i get under the car again and take a closer look at those endlinks, and they "appear" to be fine then theyre not the cause for the clunking?

if they appear to be fix and solid then your problem will be something else

Okay thanks babyblue,so are theese "solid" endlinks better/cheaper than original mazdaparts as it is with most other aftermarket parts?

And will i need to do lots of mods to the car to get theese endlinks to fit probertly?

Mainly my concern is if i can go back to original parts lateron,or is that not possible after having tryed theese on??

no modification what so ever to fits these..you can install back your oem if you want to...Biggest reason why I bought those was because they are indeed cheaper than oem..
if you want some contact tonguefreek on this board

Agreed it does sound typical like could be the endlinks. A leaking strut cartridge seal can also cause the sound you describe. Easy enough to check too. Just do a visual inspection of the corner where the sound is coming from. Look for any sign of fluid on the outside of the strut. They should appear dry...

Thanks for the advice perhaps, but the struts are quite new and all dry :D

Man i hope that its just those stupid endlinks, and not something else thats hard to locate or replace...
