If you are looking for the combat bumper, here is a pic of Jon's MX-3 before the kit/color change

im soo torn now...combat ms or drift(if it comes out) the ms looks the best so far with a front mount. but, i dont know...perhaps a wider front mount on the combat would make it look pimp!! like the one on the black mx-3. the white yellow and red seems a lil short...id prefer one that filled all of the open middle area!!

There really is'nt much room for a wide intercooler like Jeff's. You can barely even see the intanks on his which means he's got some sharp bend's in the piping, a little bit a cutting in the frame, or a hacked bumper support. Astheticly speaking, it looks damn good, but you'll have to be reasonable with looks over function. My front chiller is quite efficient at cooling off the charge air with minimal pressure loss. Given the target hp, you would want something that looks good, but is still efficient enough for cooling the air. Mine has an air flow capacity of around 350hp, so I was told by the seller. Jeff's is probably thinner than mine, but has enough frontal area to get the job done. All I'm saying is take your time and choose wisely. It really boils down to how much you want to modify the front end to make one fit.

ummm...how bout a greddy 4core!! naw jk...almost 6inches!! and 1500-2000 later...umm yea, or no!
i do not know what kind ill go with. pretty much my goal is around 400hp and well...ill decide based upon that. jeff looks great...and well, is it really thinner than yours? i want about three inches with a good length. like for the end tanks to be almost even with the end of the ends of the opening. modyfing the front or other areas to get one to fit doesnt bother me really. i think this way...a lil cut here, that doesnt hurt the cars stability/handling, but improves performance greatly is well worth it.
yours looks a little small to me...but thas probablly from the end takes having a angle cut instead of the yellow one and cjthors haveing a square endtank. either way AWSOME job. im doing a similar swap as you more than likely...if you ever wanna talk about it i-m me on aim same name as on here.

Nope. All 6" or 8" radius bends on 2.5" pipe minimum. You have almost 1 foot from the outlet of the endtanks to the tow hooks.
a little bit a cutting in the frame,
No frame cuts. Only an opening in the pocket where the overfill tank was.
or a hacked bumper support.
Nope. Wrong again. Intercooler is below the bumper core. Why would you want to tuck any of the IC under the bumper where it gets no airflow?
Astheticly speaking, it looks damn good, but you'll have to be reasonable with looks over function.
Thanks. True. I was.

My core is 3" thick, 30" long and 6" tall. There is almost no measurable flow loss across the IC by itself and less than 1 PSI in the entire intake tract from the turbo outlet to the TB. It drops the charge temps as much as 90°F at 70°F ambient.
It only required modification of the bumper cover to get it in and that is not structural.

Ok a little late but finally got some pics on the net

. Heres the only one i have right now of the incooler but its with out the bumper. The bumper is a topmix(fishmouth) and it all fit together perfect and with a little room to spare.

its a 1.8l v6 so the turbo is over the transmission.
