always so negative..<P>there is a festiva here with the b6t in it, it has 300hp and hasnt broke anything yet. jesse is the only one im hearing from that "knows" these trannies will break. ive heard many horror stories about the axles and trannies blowing but have never seen it. <P><BR>however if you are doing the job correctly it should only take a portion of what the swap costs to modify the tranny to be reliable.<P>------ and the trans. case is capable of being reinforced- any machine shop can take on this task easily. to do all i've done my machine shop only charges $800. thats the cost of a quality used transmission.
