I will be there the 27th as im flying out early the 28th to come back to my current home in rochester ny. However in june or july my brother, my cousin from arlington, and I will be moving out to Austin. SO I for sure will get to meet some of you guys soon. <P>I do haves som questions for austin people? do you like it there? as opposed to the frozen snowy new york lol..Also are there good deals for 3 bedroom apartments? I found some for 900$ month, and my aunt who lives there dated a guy who retns lofts in the city for like 1325$ a month , this osund about right? also who wants to get me a job there lol....thanks<P>-Ryan

Ryan,<P>Yes Austin is a nice place to live. If you are into boats, the lakes are some of the best in the country. The rents sound about right. You are better off buying a house though cause its usually cheaper to buy then to rent.. Jobs are hard to find down here, depending on experience and education of course.. There are alot of $10 hour jobs but after that it gets tight.<P>Ghandi,<P>Sucks about the engine bro... Did you pull the other one and ship it back yet? only 6 month warrenty ya know hehe... Got to leave time in it for the next warrenty. I bet they don't get you a new warrenty on the next engine. I would help ya on it but you live down there in Houston.. I almost positive I'll go. My g/f will be going home to Dallas and I'll be coming up to there(after going to Corpus for Christmas) a day or two after. So, I'm going unless I can't handle driving back and forth from Austin (3hrs South & then 3hrs North).

Ghandi,<P>I would love to help ya out, however I would charge arround $500 to do it all... I am not a mechanic by trade so if I break something I wouldn't be responsible and I wouldn't guarentee my work or anything either. That being said chances are everything would go smooth, but stuff happens ya know.. If you really want me to do it let me know and I will think about it.. After all I could use the money hehe... :p

ok well i guess we will just meet up at the local mall. its called vista ridge mall and its in lewisville texas. if need be ill get the exact directions and address. but that will be on the 28th. are any of you gonna come out on the 27th?? if so let me know. but i guess (since i havent had any suggestions from 3-4 boards) we will just meet up on the 28th at the mall and go eat or something. ok so since this is originally our meet :p what time would everyone like to meet up at on the 28th. and if you could let me know soon cause i do still have to allow the other boards to know what time it is. i just figured itll be OUR decision. oh and on the 27th at the party at my house its just gonna be show up when ever you can. heres my cell phone so you can call me when you get in town. but i still need to know whos coming for sure and how many and on what day. the 27th, the 28th, or both. anyways thanks guys for sticking with me ive been kinda celebrating my bday for awhile this past weekend and this week so i havent been on too much. but i should be giving all the details as soon as i find out or get a rough estamite of who all is gonna be coming.

I going to be driving straight from Corpus to Dallas, and I'm not really sure what time or which day (26th & 27th). If you really want we can arrange something to meet up and drive up in a group.

I will be working from 10am-10pm on most of those days.. on saturgady i have to go out with the gf.. friday i can come party after work thogh =]

If you are driving straight there from south texas then don't worry about meeting to drive up in a group. I am not even sure I will be able to go, but will try.

the meet will be on the 28th which is a saturday but i was saying that if anyone wants to come out like a day early so they dont have to be driving all day sat then i would just have a party on the 27th. plus it would make it to where some of us can get to know each other a little bit. but if you can only make it the 28th then dont sweat it. but hopefully you can make the meet at least. everyone that is gonna be going needs to post a time it should start by sunday cause that is when it is gonna be decided. so far we have 3pm and 4pm. if you have a preference then choose one of those or speak up and and say a different time. otherwise i guess the meet will start between 3 and 4pm.
