SORRY it took me sooo long to get back with you. Anyway, while it doesn't seem to be the most durable thing in the world, I have had it on numerous vehicles for 4+ years in various salt based winter locations and offroading. And if its still rattling i would know its inside,or dosent the hoseclamp allways apply enough pressure to keep the shield in its place?
However, it is only meant for retaining the outside shield onto the cat. SOO, it will not have any effect on internal cat rattlings.
