Kuromu, glad the alt fixed your prob cuz was going to suggest that maybe your engine was just really really happy. :wink:

I had the same problem - whining whistling sound from the right side. I never bothered to fix it until my alt belt broke rubbed on the crank pulley and the car filled with blue and black smoke from burnt rubber.

Turns out it was the pulley bearing, it siezed up, overall a pretty cheap and easy fix.

I had this problem..i had the idle screw open to much.. i re adjusted the tps and timing and everything was fine..i must say i kinda miss it... lol
