If you take out your cat it may be cheaper than a high flow but that is the only advantage...<BR>A hollowed cat creates turbulence if you hollow it you should also insert a pipe that is an exact fit inside the casing.<BR>The note of your exhaust will change (more raspy) but not much. <BR>Power gain ...questionable.. Maybe only slightly but nothing to speak of <BR>Pro.. Cheap. Possible minimal power increase (every little bit helps), and the note/sound more raspy (if you like that)<BR>Con...Costs more. Possible fine or failure on emission test greatly increased, and not that I’m a tree hugging hippie but you are poisoning the environment..
