iv heard it costs about 80K US to buy and import a Skyline GTR from Japan to the US. but the cool thing is it does 12 sec in the 1/4 stock from japan. and anything that it normally plastic under the hood like intake radiator supports, fuesbox covers, there all carbon fiber. they are pretty sweet. but isnt that the reason to beef up an MX to attempt to give thies exotic cars a run fot their money.

12 sec in the quarter?? holy crap! but check it out..... thats 280hp at 3400lbs. now, the new nissan 350z convertible has 287hp at 3500lbs (with hard top).. so whats up? that Z has gotta be an insanely fast car!! o and btw those skyline prices are bull**** cuz www.batfa.com can get u then for hella cheap, and to make em legal? register them as nissan maximas with modified bodies. LMAO

Skylines are the shiznit!! Hey, Sam this is some advice I got for ya. If you dig the Nissans, this should be thought through. I know this option does give you the pimp factor of a Skyline, but could get ya close to the speed. Buy a 240sx with a blown motor, and swap in a engine from either a skyline or a silvia. My friend bought a 240sx and we bought a SR20DET for it. Which is a 2.0L inline 4 turbo. It was almost a direct swap. And it MOVES. You can also drop a RB series motor in them, without too much modifying, and they are the inline sixs. They are BIGTIME sleepers... But the drift scene is invading the states fast. And there is becomeing more and more 240s and 180s around. Nissans are very nice cars, and are very fun to work on. And you can get nice engines for them for relitivly cheap, compaired to honda motors that is.
