i also heard taking out the 4 tranny is easier then the 6

Pull out the battery box and all intake piping, put a bit of lift on the engine with a cherry picker, undo the necessary mounts, pull the slave cylinder and secure it Carefully out of the way, loosen all the bolts on the Bellhousing, lower the engine until the tranny clears the inside of the wheel well (LOOK and LISTEN for anything to go wrong...if so then Stop!) pull all bolts and drop the tranny with a floor jack and an extra set of hands (this is why God gave us friends).
Oh, this all comes after you pull the wheels, calipers, discs, ball joint, sway bar link, drain the transaxle, ..carefully pull the axles out (they should Pop out easy, with a slight tug)..., pull the shifter linkage, disconnect the speedo'cable...I know I'm forgetting something. Guys, feel free to fill in any blanks...
It took me about fifteen hours, a lot of which I was by myself and didn't have a clue. Take a look at any parts that you should maybe replace during this time (axle dust boots, links, bolts ball joint, etc...It's a lot easier to do it while you're there), and make absolutely sure you have everything you need to put it back together. I.E. fluids, lock nuts, etc.
It feels so good to pull out of the shop on a new clutch.

<hr></blockquote><p>Well, there's no need to pull the calipers and rotors off. That's extra work. Unbolt the 2 bolts holding the strut, and that's it. Make sure you have a breaker bar for the 32mm nut you have to take off at the end of the axle. A flywheel holder helps so you can properly torque down the pressure plate. The driver's side axel is usaully a PITA to take out, just have a big pry bar ready. You'll need a clutch alignment tool too, very cheap at an auto parts store. <p>It only took me 3 1/2 hrs. :D
